The Colored Canyon, Sinai, Egypt (12 images)
The walls of the canyon are made of sandstone, which is easily eroded by water and wind forming nice natural artworks. The walls are as high as 50 meters. Look inside to see wonderful colored rocks, fancy sculptures and intricate paintings created by the nature.

Saint Catherine's Monastery, Sinai, Egypt (5 images)
Saint Catherine's Monastery one of the oldest continuously functioning Christian monasteries (it nearly 1,000 years old). Initially St. Catherina built a chapel at the place where Moses saw the burning bush. Later Emperor Justinian built an orthodox monastery here. See photos of monastery and the burning bush inside.

That's one of several possible locations where Moses lived hiding from Pharaoh, saw the burning bush and received the Ten Commandments. This place is sacred for Moslims and Christians. It is a popular sight for tourists as well.
